OC Music Awards Showcase Series Highlights Local TalentExplore Orange County’s vibrant music scene with the 2012 OC Music Awards Showcase Series. Every year, the OC Music Awards celebrate the best musical artists throughout the county, many of whom have found national and international fame. Nominees this year include indie group Young the Giant, the legendary Social Distortion and local pop favorite the Aquabats. Showcases will feature bands from the Best Live Band and Best Live Acoustic categories every Tuesday through February 14. at different OC venues. The Showcase Series Finals will be held February 24 for Best Live Acoustic and February 25 for Best Live Band. The 2012 OC Music Awards will be held March 3 at the City National Grove of Anaheim.
