Veterans Day at Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier


Nov. 11. Celebrate Veterans Day seaside as Pacific Park honors America’s heroes with a stunning Ferris wheel light showfeaturing an animated American flag and the seals of all five U.S. Armed Services. Using more than 174,000 LED lights in vibrant red, white, and blue, the 90-foot-tall Ferris wheel will illuminate the coastline. The event features a Chinook helicopter flyover, live patriotic performances, and a keynote by General Bryan P. Fenton, Commander of U.S. Special Operations Command. Remarks will be given by Mayor Lana Negrete and Councilmember Dan Hall, with a future soldier swearing-in ceremony rounding out the program.

Forest Lawn’s 66th Annual Veterans Day Celebration

Nov. 11. Join Forest Lawn-Hollywood Hills for its 66th Annual Veterans Day Celebration, honoring the men and women of the U.S. Armed Forces with a moving outdoor ceremony at the Hall of Liberty. The event begins Monday, November 11, 2025, at 11 a.m., featuring a flyover by the Condor Squadron, patriotic music, a color guard, and a wreath-laying tribute. Highlights include a keynote by Captain (CA) LaStacia Neat, remarks from Councilmember John Lee, and performances by the LAPD Concert Band, Scottish Bagpipes & Drums, and soloist Heather Catalena. Michael Ellington, a 36-year LAPD veteran, will serve as master of ceremonies. Sign-language interpretation, refreshments, and commemorative giveaways will be provided.
