This spring, a unique culinary collaboration is bringing a fresh twist to the pizza scene. SLAB BBQ, a favorite among Los Angeles’s barbecue enthusiasts, and New York City’s renowned Prince Street Pizza (PSP) have come together to offer a special BBQ Chicken Pizza for a limited time.
Launching on Friday, March 8, this special edition pizza combines the best of both worlds: the smoky flavors of SLAB BBQ and the beloved Grandma Style Crust of PSP. The pizza is topped with smoked chicken, drenched in SLAB’s signature BBQ sauce, and accompanied by red onion, shredded mozzarella cheese, and cilantro, creating a flavorful experience. In a surprising twist, PSP will temporarily lift its ‘No-Ranch’ rule, allowing this pizza to be served with ranch dressing, adding a creamy contrast to the smoky and tangy flavors.
This year marks the third annual collaboration between SLAB BBQ and Prince Street Pizza, offering this BBQ Chicken Pizza. Initially, from March 8th to March 14th, the pizza will be available for delivery exclusively through the Postmates app, with prices set at $39 for a whole pie or $6.50 per slice. Following this, from March 15th to April 7th, it will be available for purchase in-store at all Prince Street Pizza locations in the Los Angeles area.
In addition to offering a unique taste experience, the collaboration is also aimed at supporting a good cause. 20% of the proceeds from the sales of the BBQ Chicken Pizza will go to Children’s Hospital LA for March Matters, demonstrating a commitment to giving back to the community.
