Warm summer nights have us all hankering for the outdoors, and San Diego offers great opportunities to turn your next movie night into an evening under the stars.

Wine Pub Sit-In Cinema
July 18. Guests will enjoy the classic wine “dreamed,” Bottle Shock as Point Loma’s Wine Pub presents its first-ever sit-in cinema. The evening will feature gourmet movie munchies such as parson and garlic kale chips, salted caramel and crispy proscuitto kettle corn, sage and gorgonzola gougeres and crispy stuffed zucchini blossoms. Movie-goers can bring their own chairs, blankets and pillows. Film in the Garden
Aug. 3, 10. The San Diego Museum of Art presents two films in conjunction with their current exhibition Coney Island: Visions of an American Dreamland, 1861-2008. Guests can bring a blanket and enjoy the films on the lawn outside the museum while Panama 66 offers their full menu and bar. Aug. 3, The Little Fugitive (1953) is an adventure story told from the perspective of a seven-year-old boy who takes refuge in Coney Island after mistakenly believing he’s killed his brother. On Aug. 10, I’m No Angel (1933) stars Mae West in her iconic role as a burlesque dancer and lion tamer. Every Tuesday through Sept. 1. Bring the entire family to Stone Movie Nights at Stone Brewery Liberty Station, to enjoy a lineup of classics to meet every taste. Every Saturday through Sept. 5. Head to the Amici Park Amphitheater in Little Italy for the annual film festival with some Italian flair. Friday Flix by the Bay
