Now Open. Start the new year off with an immersive and transformative full-body workout experience at Barry’s first Long Beach studio. Workouts combine cardio and strength training workouts into a 50-minute class. This location features an exclusive clothing boutique, carrying Barry’s collaborations with high-end workout and athleisure apparel brands. Jan. 11. Previously the Southern California Half Marathon & 5K, the annual race starts at Woodbridge Village. Past the finish line in Mike Ward Park, then enjoy an open festival featuring live music, food and beers from Docent Brewing and Stella Rosa. See website for parking info. Now Available. Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse has partnered with Awaken180° Weightloss to offer guests healthy meals within the program’s dietary guidelines. The program provides users with 80 percent of their daily food. Now Open. The innovative Indian street food concept, founded a decade ago by husband and wife duo Akash and Rana Kapoor, is new at Irvine Spectrum Center. The menu includes traditional dishes and fusion street food and snack offerings including Indian-style street tacos and fried ravioli. Other menu highlights include tikka masala burritos, Naughty Naan, Sexy Fries, thali platters, pani puri, samosas, bhel puri and papdi chaat. Golden Road Brewing at Huntington Beach

Just a block from the beach on Pacific Coast Highway, Golden Road Brewing has opened its fifth location, featuring a small batch brewhouse, indoor and outdoor patios and 30 rotating taps. As you sip on the freshly brewed beer, enjoy signature menu items like artisanal pizzas with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Plus, if you’re a dog owner, feel free to bring your pooch! Now Open. The new locally owned chef-driven concept is at coastal retail and dining destination 2nd & PCH. Sustainably sourced chickens from Pasturebird are brined for 24 hours before being slow-cooked. They are available in two flavors: a traditional herb version with thyme, sage and lemon; and the G-Chicken, made with Korean chili pepper flakes, citrus, soy and honey. Whole and half-birds available as well as a variety of salads and rotisserie-chicken sandwiches. Jan. 9-12. The Eagles tribute band takes the audience on a journey through the legendary rock band’s extraordinary catalog.
