Oct. 27. Bring your pit bulls and other pups to celebrate this national holiday, or come to find a new best friend at one of the dog adoption organizations. This event offers free microchipping, spay and neuter vouchers, and flea medicines. Activities include yoga with your dog, a pack walk, pet portraits, humane education, fostering info, training demos, a raffle and a photo contest. Oct. 27. Australia-based singer, actor and YouTube personality Troye Sivan is coming to Anaheim for the tour of his second studio album, Bloom. Oct. 25. Dress in your favorite Halloween costume with your pup at The Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel’s cocktail party and costume contest. Hounds will lap up drinks such as bacon-, chicken-, or beef-infused water (vegan options available), while humans sip a glass of Mutt Lynch Unleashed Chardonnay, Merlot Over and Play Dead, Chateau d’Og Cabernet Sauvignon or a cocktail featuring Tito’s Vodka. 4-7 p.m. $10 costume contest registration fee per dog, per category. Pageant of the Monsters Haunted House
Oct. 26-28, 31. This Halloween, the Festival of Arts and Pageant of the Masters brings a monster of a good time to Laguna Beach! Only returning every five years, the Pageant of the Monsters offers families a frightfully fun time filled with ghoulish tricks and treats. The Pageant’s backstage is transformed into a haunted house themed “Raiders of the Lost Art” where guests can follow along on a perilous quest to recover treasures from exotic locales across the globe. 6-9:30 p.m. $10-$20. Oct. 26-27. Spend your Friday and Saturday nights at the M Club in Marriott Irvine Spectrum to see YNK’s opening bartender Ravin Buzzell work alongside the Ellis Adams Group team to serve drink favorites from the past two years. Expect alcohol-filled candies and a rotating selection of images from around the world projected throughout the space. On Saturday only, join rooftop bar Hive & Honey for some haunting spirits and wicked brews while violinist duo DJ Vallo and Lillia mix up beats with classic scary movies projected on the wall. Oct. 27. Ghouls and ghosts should don their scariest costumes for this year’s “All Hallows Eve” Halloween party at the Aqua Lounge.
