Oct. 15-17, 22-24. Celebrate the fall season with OC Parks at the inaugural family-friendly Fall-O-Ween at Heritage Hill Historical Park. Tour the decorated historical grounds during special park hours and take your picture at a variety of fall and Halloween-themed photo opportunities (like the one pictured). Halloween Movie Night & Drag Show

Oct. 15. Calling all Rocky Horror fans! Grab tickets and don your most fabulous attire for a movie night dedicated to the cult classic Rocky Horror Picture Show, beginning with a live drag performance, on the Julianne and George Argyros Plaza. Before the film, Miss Clair Voyance (pictured) and her Sinister Sisters will transform the Argyros Plaza stage into their very own Hallo-Queen stage for a spook-tacular 50-minute drag show. Oct. 15-17. Gather with your friends to experience shopping, tasting and learning about Japanese culture at one of the largest and most authentic Japanese cultural festivals in SoCal. Attendees can look forward to more than 130 booths, a Japanese garden, a maid cafe pop-up, games, Kimono models, a “Tuna Cutting Show” and more. There will also be live performances by famous Japanese artists on the main stage through the weekend. Oct. 16. Grammy-nominated comedian, actor and TV host George Lopez is bringing his OMG Hi! Comedy Tour to the Honda Center in Anaheim. For those who don’t know Lopez, his multi-faceted career encompasses television, film, stand-up comedy and late-night television. Sunny Lemon Painting Class at Sherman Library & Gardens

Oct. 15. When life gives you lemons, make them into art! Sherman Library & Gardens welcomes guests to partake in a fun and expressive acrylic all-levels painting class hosted by local artist Helen Plehn. Painters will be guided by Plehn on how to paint a lemon tree in a Chinoiserie vase on an 8″ x 10″ canvas, followed by a relaxing 15-minute meditation while waiting for the paint layers to dry. Segerstrom Center for the Arts presents Philadelphia’s premiere contemporary ballet company BalletX, led by artistic/executive director Christine Cox, in its SCFTA debut this Saturday evening inside Segerstrom Hall. Symphony “On the Lawn” at Musco Center

Begins Oct. 17. Looking to attend more outdoor concerts? Musco Center for the Arts is launching four free “On the Lawn” concerts in its 2021-22 season as part of its Casual Music Encounter program. These intimate afternoon music events will include three Symphony On The Go concerts performed by four to six members of Pacific Symphony, and the Chapman Wind Symphony from Chapman University’s College of Performing Arts.
