Taste of GardenWalk: Music and Arts Festival

Nov. 13. Calling all anime fans! Take a stroll through STC Anaheim GardenWalk’s music and arts festival this Saturday that will be showcasing more than 100 anime and arts & crafts vendors, games, live DJ sets, and performances. Look forward to performances by guest artists such as Latin Sounds, Irie Steel, Pop Vision, Rumba Room Live, DJ ALI, DJ Justin M., UniStar Kids, Akaoni Daiko and Monkeyshine. Nov. 14. Break a sweat at Marriott Irvine Spectrum and Orangetheory Fitness’ outdoor workout event to support diabetes awareness. Locals and guests alike can attend this special boot camp-style outdoor class on the event lawn at Marriott Irvine Spectrum, followed by light bites, giveaways and more. Taking place indoors in Casa Romantica’s Main Salon, Blue13 will deliver a high-energy performance in a modern dance style that is inspired by the classical and cultural art forms of India. Nov. 12. Known for their energy, passion and conviction of its interpretations, the Paris-based Modigliani Quartet is bringing their talent to Irvine Barclay Theatre. Presented by the Philharmonic Society of Orange County, guests can watch the quartet perform scores by Mozart, Bartók and Schubert in person or at home through the theatre’s livestream (see website for info). Veterans Month Concert Series: Yolanda Johnson

Segerstrom Center for the Arts continues its special outdoor concert series for National Veterans and Military Families Month with a performance by SoCal-based vocalist, songwriter and entertainer Yolanda Johnson (aka Creole Woman).
