Packards International Free Car Show

May 6. Packard was the leading American luxury automobile built by the Packard Motor Car
Company in Detroit from 1899 to 1956. This icon and titan of the industry can now be celebrated by all, with a stunning car show being held this weekend. This is a free event open to the public. Saturday, 8 a.m.-noon. Hyatt Regency Newport Beach, 1107 Jamboree Road, Newport Beach.

Orange May Parade

May 6. The Orange May Parade, originally called the May Festival Parade, was a fixture in the City of Orange from 1933 until its last march down Chapman Avenue in 1991. The Orange Chamber of Commerce brought back the Orange May Parade in 2019 and again in 2022, and they are excited and proud to make it bigger, and better in 2023. Women In Wine Series

May 4. OCMA in conjunction with Catering by Mix Mix and Argaux, presents the Women in Wine Series. Come one, come all: couples, double dates, or simply – just friends. Enjoy a wine tasting paired with carefully curated bites all enjoyed among the stunning architecture and space that is OCMA. Tickets may be purchased here. Landers North Beach Turns 2

May 6. The “terrible twos” kick off in style at this San Clemente destination for dining and drinks as Landers North Beach celebrates its 2nd anniversary. The stylish haunt for those that enjoy a good time will be celebrating all day, but the real party begins Saturday, at 9 p.m. with live music by OSRM. 1814 N. El Camino Real, San Clemente.

Hammer Burger Opens A Brick and Mortar

May 5. Your favorite burger boys are ditching the truck and setting up a permanent shop in Eastside Santa Ana. See for yourself why these now-famous flat patties have had people hooked since they first started smashing back in 2020 as the grand opening has finally arrived when the team launches this Friday. Cars and Canvases

May 4. TBD Gallery presents its first exhibition, “Cars and Canvasas,” curated by Shane Townley. In partnership with Laguna Art Gallery, Newport Drip, Raw Timberwood, and TBD Studios, this exclusive event will be closed to the public once capacity has been reached, and ride-share services are extremely encouraged. Jean Stern Presents: The Art of Looking at Art

May 7. In this illustrated lecture, Curator Jean Stern will examine the basic elements of representational landscape painting, also known as “plein air” or outdoor painting. Mr. Stern will show a number of paintings by various artists from the past and present, and he will discuss why a particular painting is successful or why it is not.
