March 5-6. Dana Point Harbor is preparing for the height of whale watching season with the 51st Annual Dana Point Festival of Whales celebration. The weekend will be filled with events including the Welcoming of the Whales Ceremony, the iconic Festival of Whales Parade, whale watching excursions, a concert at Baby Beach, and the artistic creation of a colossal whale tale which will be constructed in real-time on the grass area at the entrance to the Harbor.
