June 13. Heritage Museum of Orange County is bringing back one of their absolute favorite FREE events. With roaming dinosaur characters, Jurassic Park Jeeps, fossils, paleontologists, archaeology, crafts, Blacksmith shop demos, immersive education stalls, food/dessert trucks, gold panning, tortoise racing and themed photo ops, as well as the many nonprofit booths that will be around the grounds, it’s one of our favorite and biggest events of the year. The District at Tustin Legacy Celebrates World Cup Season With Interactive Fan Experiences

Now Open. Soccer fever is taking over The District at Tustin Legacy with a World Cup-themed activation running through July 3 in the AMC Fountain Courtyard. Fans can snap photos beneath a larger-than-life soccer display, strike their best goal celebration pose, and enter a contest to guess the number of soccer balls in a display case for a chance to win $150 in gift cards. The excitement continues throughout the center with game-day viewing opportunities and food specials at participating restaurants, including Bar Louie and Red Robin, making it a lively destination for fans following the tournament this summer. Now Available. Known for its ingredient-driven approach, INI continues to explore the dialogue between Japanese and Italian culinary traditions through the lens of California’s summer harvest. ARCE: Assessing Abydos

This lecture, by Laurel Bestock, a professor of Egyptology, Archaeology, and Art History at Brown University, explores the site of Abydos, a key location for understanding the rise of Egyptian kingship and the early pharaonic state. The talk traces the history of archaeological work at Abydos, examines how archival research is reshaping interpretations of early kingship, and highlights the evolving nature of archaeological discovery and interpretation.
