South OC Cars and Coffee

Jan. 6. Kick off 2024 at South OC Cars and Coffee, one of the largest weekly car meet in the US. This event regularly draws a diverse array of 700-1000 vehicles, including hypercars, supercars, exotics, as well as vintage, classic, muscle and sports cars. Plus, you can also see hot rods, rat rods, pickups, 4x4s and motorcycles, offering a dynamic experience for automobile enthusiasts. Saturday, from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. Outlets at San Clemente, 101 W Avenida Hermosa.

Enter the New Year at D1 Training

Trivia Returns to Five Vines

Jan. 7. Family-owned and locally beloved wine bar -Five Vines – is bringing back its popular Sunday Trivia this weekend. Guests are encouraged to team up and win while enjoying Five Vines’ wine list, which features over 65 carefully curated wines. For those craving a bite during trivia, their new winter menu items are now available also. Sunday, starting at 4 p.m. 31761 Camino Capistrano, San Juan Capistrano.

Bear Coast Coffee Coasts into Laguna Beach

Now Open. Situated on South Coast Highway steps from The Garden of Peace and Love – which serves as the entry point to Laguna’s Mountain Street Beach – Bear Coast Coffee’s newest location offers more than great coffee, with stunning beach views, a breakfast menu, complimentary Wi-Fi and a private parking lot. Open daily, hours are 6 a.m.-4 p.m. 1391 S. Coast Highway, Unit A, Laguna Beach.

VOX Kitchen Unveils Bold Expansion

Now Open. Founder and Executive Chef Viet Ngyuen unveils an enhanced VOX Kitchen. The enlarged dining room, boasting an additional 60 seats, elevates the restaurant’s capacity to 120, creating a more immersive dining experience. This serves as a canvas for Nguyen to not only diversify his menu offerings but also to introduce an open-concept kitchen. 16161 Brookhurst St., Fountain Valley.

Zinc Cafe Orange Opens

Jan. 5. The charm, whimsy, and flavors of Zinc Cafe come to Orange as their new restaurant, market, and bar is set to open its doors this weekend. The highly-anticipated opening welcomes a bevy of delicious options for guests to enjoy, in a remarkably beautiful space. Hours upon open will be Mondays through Sundays, from 7 a.m.-10 p.m. 195 S. International Festival of Chocolate

Jan. 7. Guests of Bowers Museum can enjoy the International Festival of Chocolate – a day full of family fun with free art activities, face painting, lively performances from the lands of chocolate, a variety of gourmet chocolates offered by different vendors and more. Cantelina Trio

Jan. 7. Presented in partnership with Laguna Beach Live, guests are invited to come enjoy the sounds of the Cantilena Trio featuring Susan Greenberg, flute; Jon Lee Keenan, tenor; and Kenton Youngstom, guitar.
