Valentine’s Pop-Up

Feb. 10. Laguna Beach-based jewelry designer, Stephanos Design, is hosting a special pop-up shop. A perfect opportunity to find something special for your someone special awaits, with floral options on hand too as the pop-up takes place at the stunning French Buckets Florist. This Friday from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. 1492 S Coast Hwy #7, Laguna Beach.


Beach Clean-Up Day

Feb. 11. Bring family and friends and standup to trash on our local beaches. A free lunch and learn at The Ocean Institute will follow at 11 a.m. with a guest speaker. Those wishing to attend can register here. Prizes will be given out for various categories of trash picked up. Beach cleanup will run Saturday, from 9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Baby Beach, 34551 Puerto Pl, Dana Point.

The Air Guitar Championships

Feb. 11. The 2023 competitive air guitar season will officially kick off on Saturday as the UCI Claire Trevor School of the Arts Department of Drama will host the US Air Guitar Regional Championship Competition at the Claire Trevor Theatre. Part rock show. Part comedy act. Part spectacle. All fun. Tickets can be found here. Saturday, at 10 p.m. Claire Trevor Theatre. Parking: 4002 Mesa Rd., Irvine.

Miches For a Cause

Feb. 10-12. One of Orange County’s gems is presenting a weekend special in an effort to support the victims of the recent devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria. Alta Baja Market will be donating 100% of michelada sales (including virgin) throughout the weekend to Catholic Relief Services, which is also accepting direct donations here. Open daily 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. 201 E 4th Street, Santa Ana.

Chocolate Cherry Sourdough from Bread Artisan Bakery

Feb. 11-12. A delicious gift for Valentine’s Day, made with the finest Belgian dark chocolate slabs and cocoa powder, combined with tart, dried cherries soaked in rum. New All-day Menu at Fermentation Farm

Now Available. Beloved neighborhood market and dining spot, Fermentation Farm, has unveiled a new all-day menu. Featuring some of the most popular items from their scratch kitchen, along with the option to order breakfast items all the way until closing. Marine Room Sundays

Feb. 12. Sundays will sound a lot swankier as Jake Brown brings a collection of cool cats to the state at the famous Marine Room Tavern in Laguna Beach. Slide into this slice of Orange County history and sip on a cool glass as the music takes your spirit (and the spirits in your glass) to new heights – a perfect way to end any weekend. Adults only. The Blind Boys of Alabama

Feb. 10. Winners of five Grammy Awards, The Blind Boys of Alabama are living legends who continue setting the standard for gospel music. The Blind Boys shows are roof-raising musical events that cross musical boundaries with remarkable interpretations of traditional gospel favorites, contemporary spirituals, and hard-working rhythm and blues. $30-$100. Friday at 8 p.m. 4242 Campus Drive, Irvine.


Feb. 11-12. This Saturday “a night of music and laughs by a local girl living right under our noses” will take shape in Tales of a 5 Foot Nothing, a one-woman show by Nohely Quiroz. Then on Sunday, Allan Cason, a musician, writer, and rock impresario, presents his one-man show Mr. Soul – The Sam Cooke Story.
