“Jurassic Quest Drive-Thru”

Feb. 5-14. Travel back in time about 100 million years with this interactive drive-thru exhibit. The OC Fairgrounds has transformed its outdoor parking areas into a prehistoric fantasyland—filled with more than 70 full-size, animatronic dinosaurs. Jurassic Quest collaborated with paleontologists to painstakingly create the moving, life-like replicas. Beware of the 50-foot-long Megalodon and the swinging tail of the 80-foot-long Spinosaurus! Remember the Titans at Irvine Spectrum Center

Feb. 5. Before tuning in for the Super Bowl on Sunday, don’t miss the outdoor screening of the football classic Remember the Titans. The film is based on the true story of a newly appointed African-American coach Herman Boone (portrayed by Denzel Washington) and his high school team on their first season as a racially integrated unit. Moviegoers are required to wear a mask and practice social distancing at all times when outside the vehicle. Repo Man at Mess Hall Market

Feb. 5. Pull up to Mess Hall Market’s parking structure on the fourth floor for a drive-in movie night featuring Alex Cox’s 1984 sci-fi/comedy cult classic Repo Man. Before the screening, presented by Frida Cinema and Horrible Imaginings Film Festival, Mess Hall Market will be open from 6 to 8 p.m. for moviegoers who want a bite to eat before the showtime, featuring restaurants such as Big Parm, Fowl Play, The Little Greek, The Lost Bean, The Sandwich Society, Slapfish and Vaka Burger. Flower Child Brings Back Fan-Favorites

Now Available. Calling all Flower Child fans! The healthy, fast-casual eatery, known for accommodating all dietary needs, has brought back two fan-favorites to enjoy on the outdoor patio or to take home. Before Fiddler – Live From Florence

Feb. 7. Actor/musician extraordinaire Hershey Felder (pictured) stars in Laguna Playhouse’s world premiere—streaming live from Florence, Italy. Before Fiddler on the Roof, there was the music of the Old World—brought to light by Sholem Aleichem, a Yiddish author and playwright. Aleichem’s stories inspired Fiddler’s beloved main character, “Tevye the Milkman;” along with the musical’s famed songs, such as “If I Were a Rich Man” and “Tradition!” Felder portrays Aleichem in a live-broadcast concert, featuring musician Klezmerata Fiorentina—with proceeds benefiting U.S. arts organizations. 5 p.m. $55 per household. lagunaplayhouse.com

Nixon Library Gardens and New Outdoor Exhibition

Reopened. With the stay-at-home order lifted, guests can safely explore the history and beauty of the Pat Nixon Gardens, and view the new outdoor exhibit The President and the Planet: Richard Nixon and the Environment. This exhibit is an in-depth look at the historic environmental initiatives of the Nixon years and features beautiful commissioned sculptures and plein air art.
