April 28-30. Brewery X, a family and dog-friendly establishment, has chosen to throw their own version of Coachella with a 3-day event of music, food, and fun called X-Coach. Multiple bands are set to perform, along with a vintage market, and yee-haw vibes to set the tone for the festivities. Instead of attending the traditional Coachella festival, some people opt for events like X-Coach to enjoy a family-friendly and pet-friendly atmosphere. City Nature Challenge

April 29-30. Irvine Ranch Conservancy (IRC) is hosting two City Nature Challenges for the public at the City of Irvine’s Bommer Canyon Preserve and OC Parks’ newly opened Saddleback Wilderness. These interactive and exploratory events focus on finding and identifying as many of Orange County’s rare and threatened plant communities and wildlife species as possible. South OC Cars and Coffee

April 29. The US’s largest weekly car meet that attracts a mix of 700-1000 plus hypercars, supercars, exotics, vintage, classic, muscle and sports cars, hot rods, rat rods, pickups, 4×4 and motorcycles. Saturday, 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. The Outlets, 101 W Avenida Vista Hermosa, San Clemente.

Wine Tasting at Maison Fox

April 30. Come taste some of the best wines from Santa Barbara Wine Country from Piazza Family Wines. Meet winemaker Gretchen Voelker Reed as she pours and tastes guests through her lineup, as well as a few secrets she is bringing for the tasting, all while enjoying the day at the idyllic Maison Fox Wine Bar. Softies Burger Pop-up

April 29. Softies Burgers is doing a pop-up this weekend, as they set up shop at Thank You Coffee in Anaheim. Don’t miss out on their various offerings, such as their Cali burger, aji verde burger, and hickory burger. Additionally, they have secret menu items for this special event, that are sure to go quickly. Saturday, 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. 255 N. Anaheim Blvd. Unit D, Anaheim.

CHUPONcito Opens

Now Open. The new Chuponcito restaurant, located in Aliso Viejo, offers a variety of traditional Mexican cuisine, as well as coffees, pastries, beer, and wine. They serve breakfast and lunch, with an array of dishes to choose from, including chilaquiles, carnitas benedict, tamales, tacos dorados, and more. Say Bonjour to Avec Moi

Now Open. Chef and Owner of both Maison Cafe + Market, and Gianna Bakery + Provisions, Danielle Kuhn, understands how to make a welcoming, charming space better than most. Now, hidden right next to Maison, she has opened Avec Moi – an oasis for those that love cheese and wine. They also carry a variety of meat and cheese board to choose from. Mariachi Reyna de Los Angeles & Villalobos Brothers

April 28. For the first time ever, trailblazing ensembles Mariachi Reyna de Los Angeles and Villalobos Brothers join forces on Irvine Barclay Theatre’s stage. America’s first all-female mariachi ensemble, Reyna de Los Angeles, brings sensitivity, beauty, and a vivacious spirit to the historic art of mariachi. Tickets are $30 – $85. Backhausdance Performances at Sherman Gardens

April 29-30. Backhausdance, Orange County’s critically acclaimed contemporary dance company, will perform site-specific contemporary dance work inspired by a month-long residency in Sherman Gardens. My Hero: The Art of Healing

April 30. Unlock the healing power of creativity with MY HERO and the Laguna Art Museum. Included with museum admission, guests will enjoy art, poetry, music, dance and short films to celebrate the art of healing.
