Earth Day Storytime and Beach Cleanup

April 22. Join the Laguna Art Museum and Project O in celebrating Earth Day. Rich German, founder of Project O, will commence the celebration with story time, reading “My Friend Earth” by Patricia MacLachlan, followed by a presentation and book signing by German for his book “Blue Laguna.” Wrapping up the day will be a beach cleanup. Starts Saturday, 11 a.m. 307 Cliff Drive, Laguna Beach.

Family Fun: Dream Green

April 22. Enjoy playful art-making activities and self-guided gallery explorations on this special kids’ day out at The Orange County Museum of Art. Celebrate Earth Day by repurposing everyday objects to create art and finding creative inspiration in nature. This drop-in program is designed for kids ages three and up. All families are welcome. “Dogs of Downtown” Special Event

Find Your Best Buddy All Month

Now Available.Throughout April, adoption fees are waived for dogs 25 pounds and over at OC Animal Care. There has been a consistent increase in adoptions for dogs weighing 25+ pounds compared to the same months in the previous year, so now is the time to come find your new best buddy. The waived fees include microchipping, vaccinations, spaying or neutering, and anti-parasite treatment, and more information can be found here. 1630 Victory Road, Tustin.

Margarita Crawl Begins

April 23. Presented by Tequila Herradura, a county-wide celebration of one of the world’s most iconic cocktails begins this Sunday. Countless participating restaurants are presenting special menu offerings of this beloved concoction – no tickets, passes, or anything else is required – just pick your favorite restaurant from the list of participating locations. New Farmers Market Debuts

April 23. The District at Tustin Legacy is kicking off a brand new weekly Farmer’s Market. The new market will feature nearly two dozen local farmers and food artisans offering an assortment of fresh produce, including organic fruits and vegetables, along with artisanal baked goods and more. Urban Plates Announces New Deals and Expands Everyday Value Menu

Now Available. At a time when many restaurants are raising prices, Urban Plates, the 17-location, chef-driven concept, is doing the opposite. Urban Plates has announced it is dropping prices on a selection of some of the restaurant’s most popular salads, sandwiches, and bowls. Live Shows at The Wayfarer

April 20. This Thursday, a deeply talented trip of artists descended upon The Wayfarer in Costa Mesa for what is sure to be a wonderful night of music.
