California Wine Festival

April 19-20. The coastal city of Dana Point will host two days of oceanside wine tasting events. The Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa will kick off the festivities on Friday with the Sunset Rare & Reserve Tasting, offering an intimate setting to sample hard-to-find reserve wines, tasting room exclusives and limited-production selections. On Saturday, the wine tasting continues at the Beachside Wine Festival in Sea Terrace Park, featuring a varied wine regions, live music, local craft beer and a wide array of foods. OC Japan Fair

April 19-21. Gather with your friends to experience shopping, tasting and learning about Japanese culture at one of the largest and most authentic Japanese cultural festivals in SoCal. Look forward to more than 130 booths, a Japanese garden, a maid cafe pop-up, games, Kimono models, a “Tuna Cutting Show” and more. There will also be live performances by famous Japanese artists on the main stage through the weekend. Friday-Sunday, hours vary. 88 Fair Dr, Costa Mesa.

Gabriel Iglesias Takes Over The Honda Center

April 19. The Fluffy Guy himself, Gabriel Iglesias, is taking over the Honda Center this weekend with a stop from his new, “Don’t Worry Be Fluffy” tour. This nearly sold-out show is the perfect time to experience what makes this comedian, actor, writer and more such a beloved talent worldwide. Tickets can be found here. Jazz and Brunch Pop-up

April 21. Knuckleheads, a celebrated dive bar, invites guests to experience its charm during a Jazz Brunch this Sunday. The event will feature the Oaxacan flavors of the food pop-up Tlayuca, accompanied by the musical talents of Ryan Roberts and Roy Dunlap. New Happy Hour at Surf City

Now Available. Surf City Still Works has launched a new happy hour menu and updated hours, featuring $5 food items and all cocktails priced at $8, including the classic old fashioned made with their in-house Pierside Bourbon. The diverse menu includes options such as surfside “cigars,” tamari wings and hummus, offering guests a variety of choices to enjoy alongside their drinks. Bluey Visits Bellflower

April 21. Bluey, the beloved television character, is coming to SteelCraft Bellflower for a free meet and greet event. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early to secure their place, as the event will operate on a first-come, first-served basis. While meeting Bluey, guests can also enjoy a variety of food and drink options available from on-site vendors. Sunday from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. 16500 Bellflower Blvd, Bellflower.

New Cocktails at Hotel Laguna

Now Available. Larsen, the on-site dining and drinking venue at Hotel Laguna, has introduced a new cocktail menu this spring. Offering a selection from traditional classics to unique, house-crafted creations, the venue provides the perfect setting to enjoy refreshing beverages by the water under the sunshine.
