Opening night with Steely Dan and the Hollywood Bowl orchestra along with fireworks. More Info.
A few 50th anniversary celebrations including Pet Sounds with Brian Wilson, Star Trek, Sergio Mendes’ Brazil 2016 and Jeff Beck.
The 18th season of KCRW’s World Festival brings concerts from The Silk Road Ensemble with Yo-Yo Ma; Burning Spear; Kurt Vile and The Violators; and the Bloc Party.
Gustavo Dudamel conducts a concert performance of West Side Story and the opera, Tosca.
John Williams conducts music from Star Wars: The Force Awakens and teams up with David Newman who conducts music from classic films that will be shown against clips from them on the Bowl’s big screen. More Info.
Chicago makes their Hollywood Bowl debut for the annual 4th of July fireworks weekend; Culture Club, Jeff Lynne’s ELO, Kraftwerk, Brandi Carlile and Carlos Vives also make their first appearances at the Hollywood Bowl.
Jazz at the Bowl salutes Allen Toussaint with performances from The Allen Toussaint Band and Galactic. More Info.
