Debbie Durkin’s ECOLUXE Lounge ‘Endless Summer Festival’ Benefiting Marley’s Mutts Dog Rescue

On Friday, September 13th, 2024, Beverly Hills played host to Debbie Durkin’s 18th annual ECOLUXE Luxury Lounge, the ‘Endless Summer Festival,’ in celebration of television’s biggest night: the Primetime TV Awards. This exclusive event brought together eco-conscious brands, celebrities, and philanthropists, all in support of a meaningful cause—Marley’s Mutts Dog Rescue Ranch.

Held at a private residence, the ECOLUXE Lounge blended luxury and purpose in perfect harmony. Guests, including actors Gilles Marini (Sex & The CityBrothers & Sisters), Sofia Milos (CSI Miami), Emmy-nominated writer Meriel Sheibani-Clare (The Crown), and others, were treated to a day of wellness experiences, top-notch culinary delights, and even the chance to meet adorable puppies available for adoption from Marley’s Mutts.

Star-Studded Guests and Purpose-Driven Brands

The event showcased a range of luxury brands and sustainability-driven products, giving guests an inside look at the latest in eco-friendly innovations. Attendees could explore high-end wellness items from ZenoVerse Wellness Group and 420WellnessJamaica.com, admire unique creations from Kimitake Jewelry, and even sample cutting-edge athletic gear from Fayah Athletics. As always, Debbie Durkin curated a space that not only indulged her guests but also highlighted the importance of purposeful living.

A highlight of the event was Marley’s Mutts Dog Rescue, the event’s beneficiary, offering up their mission of rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs while promoting the power of second chances—both for the pets and the people who adopt them. Their presence brought both joy and a deeper purpose to the already celebratory atmosphere. Fayah Athletics showcased innovative athleisure wear designed by Canadian talent Ayo, featuring SPF50 sun-protected swimwear and performance tees crafted from eco-friendly fabrics. The collection was a testament to the merging of style and sustainability.

Brand participants:

VIP Guests and Emerging Talent

The guest list was nothing short of glamorous, with celebrities like Joseph Gatt (Game of Thrones), Kwame Siegel (Actor, Comedian), Skully Brandon (Actor, Rapper, Dancer), and Newton Mayenge (5x Emmy-nominated actor, HBO Winning Time) gracing the event. It was a meeting of emerging and established talent, all connecting over their love for pets, philanthropy, and eco-conscious living.

Luxury Meets Philanthropy

Debbie Durkin’s ECOLUXE Lounge has consistently raised the bar for pre-awards events, and this year was no exception. By incorporating sustainability-focused brands and giving a platform to Marley’s Mutts, the event highlighted the importance of using star power for good. The lounge demonstrated how luxury experiences can also support important causes, creating a ripple effect of awareness and change.

From high-end gifts like MO’ Eyewear and ettitude luxury bamboo sheets to Grammy-winner Alya Michelson’s song “HOPE” benefiting UNICEF, the thoughtful curation of brands made it clear: luxury and purpose are not mutually exclusive. The event brought together a passionate group of influencers who will continue spreading the word about eco-conscious living and animal welfare.

A Bright Future for ECOLUXE

As the entertainment industry embraces sustainability and philanthropy, ECOLUXE continues to lead the way. By blending celebrity engagement with meaningful causes, Debbie Durkin’s lounge is proof that pre-awards events can leave a lasting impact, not just on Hollywood, but on the world.
