May 7. The annual Culver City Car Show is revving up its engines to showcase some of the coolest cars in L.A. View iconic muscle cars like Mustangs, Cobras, Corvettes, and more. MOMentum Place

May 8. Annually Mother’s Day, “MOMentum Place” creates a fantastical world of aerial and circus performers, dancers and musicians in the rustic outdoor amphitheater at Will Geer’s Theatricum Botanicum. This is a family friendly event full of acrobatic performances. They will also host a Mother’s Day brunch in the Theatricum gardens before the performance. Brunch is 12pm – 1:30pm. Hammer Museum’s Lifes Exhibition

Last Day May 8. Contributions from more than 50 individuals from various fields, the Lifes exhibition considers the possibilities and pitfalls of interdisciplinary artmaking. Amidst the sculptures and paintings, is a cycle of audio, video, and live performance which repeats at the top of each hour, and as advised, there is no wrong or right way to experience this exhibition.
