Butterfly Pavilion at the Natural History Museum
Now Open. With spring in full swing, NHM’s seasonal Butterfly Pavilion has returned. Visitors can now interact with up to 30 different species of butterflies and moths, along with an assortment of California plants in this outdoor exhibit. Butterflies take flight and often land on visitors’ arms or shoulders. For the best butterfly flight encounters, visitors are advised to stop by between 10 and 11 a.m each morning.
