ArtNight Pasadena

St. Patrick’s Day Parade By The Coast

March 15. Hermosa Beach brings the Irish spirit to the coast with its 29th annual St. Patrick’s Day parade. Bagpipers, marching bands, Irish dancers and classic cars decked out in green will wind through the city, starting near City Hall on Valley Drive, moving west on Pier Avenue and finishing at Hermosa Avenue and 8th Street. Re:HER Women’s History Month Festival

Until March 31. Celebrate Women’s History Month by supporting L.A.’s top women-owned restaurants during Regarding Her’s annual food festival. This four-night Ramadan experience offers Iftar (sunset dinner) and Suhoor (late-night small bites), featuring an Egyptian street food menu from Chef Khaled and guest chef Chef Amir, with dishes like meat and onion tajine, ta’ameya and macarona bechamel. March 15-16. Celebrating its 10th year, the massive two-day festival at Hollywood Park in Inglewood brings A$AP Rocky, Playboi Carti, YG and Ken Carson to the stage, alongside immersive art installations, a Ferris wheel and a karaoke bar. Peso Pluma makes history as the first non-hip-hop act to headline, performing on Saturday. A portion of net ticket sales will support wildfire relief efforts. Imagining Black Diasporas: 21st-Century Art and Poetics

Now Showing. LACMA’s Imagining Black Diasporas: 21st-Century Art and Poetics brings together 60 artists from Africa, Europe, and the Americas, exploring nearly 25 years of Black artistic production. The exhibition expands the Pan-African canon beyond the Black Atlantic to include artists along the Pacific Rim, showcasing nearly 70 works across painting, sculpture, photography, works on paper, and time-based media. These works redefines diaspora as a space of reinvention and creative expression. lacma.org
