Drunk Yoga 
Nov. 21. Work your body and mind with booze and beach views during another weekend full of wine-fueled workout activities for LA yogis. Each 90-minute event starts with a 15-minute happy hour and ends with a 30-minute “wine down.” The meditative sipping sessions include classic drunk yoga, brunch drunk yoga, happy hour drunk yoga, hair of the down-dog yoga and sunset drunk yoga. Nov. 23-24. Get a head start on holiday shopping at this free pop-up market at Los Angeles State Historic Park, where you’ll find giftable goods from over 300 makers. A Dog Day Afternoon
Nov. 24. Boomtown Brewery and Dog for Dog present a day of cats, dogs, craft beers and more. Support the West L.A. Animal Shelter, including the animals affected by the recent fires, while mingling with people and pets over great food, treats, toys, games and giveaways. Christmas at Palisades Village 
Nov. 24. This weekend, Palisades Village is welcoming the Christmas season with its second annual tree lighting celebration, the first “snowfall” and Santa’s Grand Arrival. Get into the spirit with some pre-ceremony treats, entertainment and holiday crafting. The evening will feature performances by Disney Channel’s Dakota Lotus and Jayden Bartels, So You Think You Can Dance star Fik-Shun and the Adderley School. You can pay a visit to Santa’s cottage any day (other than Thanksgiving) through Christmas Eve. Nov. 24. Lucques’ book-inspired dinner series continues this weekend, celebrating the publication of Elena Reygada’s cookbook, Rosetta. Named after Reygada’s internationally renowned restaurant in Mexico City, the book of recipes, culinary history and personal recollections provides a well-rounded understanding of each of her dishes. Birds & Bees’ Fat-Based Cocktail Series
Through Nov. 30. As part of an ongoing series of monthly themed cocktail collections developed by bar manager Jake Larowe, Birds & Bees is mixing three limited-time drinks using healthy fats. For the rest of November, the 1950s-inspired speakeasy will be serving the Avo-Bravo (avocado-based with gin, inspired by a bloody mary), Bananas Krupa (pecan-based with rum and sherry, inspired by a Bananas Foster) and Coco-Bongo (coconut-based with rum and absinthe, mixed with herbal teas, with hints of floral and vanilla). August Wilson’s Jitney

L.A. Dance Project 
Through Nov. 24. Since bowing in 2012, L.A. Dance Project has graced venues around the world. But this fall, the contemporary dance company is saluting its roots and creative collaborators with L.A. Dances, a six-week festival comprising 10 L.A. premieres (six of them are world premieres) of dance works presented at its downtown performance/rehearsal space.
