Get Fit With Minnie Mouse
Jan. 19. Female-founded athleisurewear brand Terez and leading cold-pressed-juice brand Pressed Juicery will host a Minnie Mouse-inspired fitness event open to the public at Westfield Century City, in celebration of the launch of their Minnie-inspired collections (and Minnie’s 90th anniversary). Women’s March Los Angeles
Jan. 19. Don’t call it a protest, organizers say. Rather, it’s billed as a “pro peace, pro inclusivity event focused on marginalized voices and the power of voting.” Thousands of women (and men) are expected to participate on Saturday morning, starting with a program in Pershing Square, followed by a march to L.A. Jan. 19-20. Slack Key Festival
Jan. 20. Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Monty’s Good Burger
Now Available. Since opening last summer, the Koreatown vegan burger joint has regularly seen long wait times (up to two hours on weekends) just to get in the door. Now it’s one of the first SoCal restaurants to debut the new and improved Impossible 2.0 burger, so expect the lines to grow. The new burger is soy-based and gluten-free versus the now-discontinued wheat-based original—and impossible to distinguish from a traditional beef patty. It’s worth waiting for. High Tide Grand Opening
Jan. 18. High Tide makes its debut in a former industrial space between Little Tokyo and the Arts District.
