Museum of Drunk History
Now Open. The Paley Center for Media takes visitors on a trip through the hilarious world of Comedy Central’s Drunk History, the liquored-up narration of our nation’s history. The exhibit features intricate dioramas that represent each episode of the upcoming sixth season of the series. Pico Fitness Crawl
Jan. 12. Just in time for those 2019 resolutions, 17 fitness businesses on Santa Monica’s Pico Boulevard will hold 10-minute workouts, every 20 minutes. Participants will run, jog or walk along 2.5 miles from workout to workout. Experience traditional favorites like Pilates and yoga, plus professional dance choreography onstage at the Morgan-Wixson Theatre, resistance training at the Original Muscle Beach, Aztec dance and virtual golf. 9 a.m.-1 p.m. $10. Santa Anita Park Burger & Brewfest
Jan. 12. Enjoy gourmet sliders from some of SoCal’s best burger joints, craft beers from local breweries and world-class Thoroughbred racing. No Pants Subway Ride 2019
Jan. 13. Improv Everywhere continues its annual meetup where participants ride the L.A. Metro in their skivvies. Choose from six rendezvous points: the Del Mar or Atlantic stations on the Gold Line; Willowbrook/Rosa Parks station on the Blue Line; North Hollywood station on the Red Line; Wilshire/Western on the Purple Line; or the Culver City station on the Expo line. Starts Jan. 11. Over 400 of L.A.’s top restaurants offer specially priced prix-fixe menus for lunch and dinner during this popular biannual dining event, which turns 11 this year and is celebrating the city’s diverse dining scene. Mutts & Mimosas
Jan. 12. Head to brunch and come home with a new best friend. The Playa Vista outlet of Tocaya Organica teams up with Wags & Walks to host puppy adoptions. Percolate Grand Opening
Jan. 12. West L.A. tea and boba cafe Percolate opens the doors to its new location on Melrose Avenue in Hollywood. The first 100 people score free drinks and a chance to win reusable KeepCups with metal boba straws. Cole’s Year of the Dip
Through Jan. 13. In honor of its 110th anniversary, Cole’s French Dip is celebrating 2019 as the “Year of the Dip.” To mark this milestone, the legendary eatery will be featuring a special chef collaboration dip for one week per month all year long, kicking off with Nyesha Arrington of Native Santa Monica and her beef bulgogi dip sandwich. Santa Monica Restaurant Week

Jan. 10-13. Rita Wilson’s Liner Notes returns for a special limited engagement, marking its fourth tour at Westwood’s Geffen Playhouse. Wilson will be joined by songwriters Billy Steinberg (Madonna’s “Like a Virgin,” Cindy Lauper’s “True Colors”), the Warren Brothers (Tim McGraw’s “Felt Good on My Lips,” Dierks Bentley’s “Feel That Fire”) and additional artists for an intimate evening of performing song sets and sharing the personal stories behind their biggest hits. National Geographic Photo Ark

It’s your last chance to see National Geographic Photo Ark, an ambitious project committed to documenting every species living in the world’s zoos and wildlife sanctuaries through photographs—inspiring people not just to care, but also to help protect animals from extinction before it’s too late. Notorious RBG in Song
Jan. 13. The Skirball Cultural Center presents acclaimed composer-soprano Patrice Michaels in a performance of songs from her new album, Notorious RBG in Song. Hailed as “a formidable interpretive talent” by The New Yorker, Michaels will bring to the stage music and stories exploring the life and work of United States Supreme Court Associate Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg in celebration of the her 25th anniversary on the high court.
