“Can’t Cancel Pride” Benefit

June 4. Get ready for the return of Procter & Gamble (P&G) and iHeartMedia’s virtual relief benefit “Can’t Cancel Pride” to raise visibility and funds for the LGBTQ+ community. “Still Standing” Rooftop Comedy at NeueHouse Hollywood

L.A. Zoo’s Beastly Ball

June 5. Tune in to watch L.A. Zoo’s 51st annual largest and most important fundraiser event from home! Hosted live by comedian/actor Joel McHale with GLAZA president Tom Jacobson and L.A. Zoo CEO/zoo director Denise Verret, the Beastly Ball will include animal moments, celeb cameos, spoken word poetry by Christopher D. Through June 30. Los Angeles’ 65-year-old beloved Mexican establishment Casa Vega and actress Dakota Fanning present the launch of their limited-time collaborative margarita, The Dakota. Reopened. The iconic Westside watering hole is back and better than ever with a remodeled interior, fresh cocktail program, and new expansive patio. Jungli Debuts Lunch Service

Now Available. Dance at Dusk with American Ballet Theatre

June 4, 6. The Music Center hosts the American Ballet Theatre for its’ summer series Dance at Dusk in the new Jerry Moss Plaza. The audience can watch six of the company’s talented dancers perform a combination of classical and contemporary selections live on-stage in seated socially distanced pods on Friday and Sunday, or from home via free livestream on Sunday. Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival

Through June 6. Celebrating its 20th anniversary, this year’s LALIFF is a hybrid festival with both in-person and virtual screenings, including a special preview screening of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Tony Award-winning musical In the Heights (pictured) on June 4. The program includes feature films, short films, episodics, masterclasses, arts program and musical performances.
