Backlot Summer Nights

June 25. Join the fun with Big Sunday at its first-ever Backlot Summer Nights, a series of three outdoor music and art shows at Big Sunday’s headquarters on Melrose. This event will feature talented up-and-coming local artists, music ensembles and—in honor of Pride month—drag performers (pictured is Elektra LaKill). This is a donation-based event with all donations going to youth facing housing insecurities and families that have been severely affected by the pandemic. Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood

Reopens June 26. Mark your calendar for the return of Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood! Look forward to the new Welcome Center as well as new experiences such as the “Storytelling Showcase” and a new interactive grand finale “Action and Magic Made Here.” The expansive new Studio Store provides fans access to exclusive merchandise from their favorite film and TV titles. WBSTH will be open on weekends from June 26 through July 11, and then operate five days a week. Tours will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Advanced reservations required. Poolside Cinema Series

Every Saturday. Sit back and relax poolside at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows with the return of the hotel’s Poolside Cinema Series. Hosted every Saturday through August, this series showcases all of the classics and cult-favorites from Indiana Jones to Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory. Opens June 26. Say hello to Santa Monica’s newest all-organic cafe with a mission to normalize kindness! This cafe concept hails from Dallas with a unique focus on employing and mentoring foster youth who are aging out of the system, and giving them the resources needed to sustain normal lives. On the menu, you’ll find items like The Butterfly Latte, Purple Rain Matcha Latte, truffle burrata avocado toast and chai overnight oats—plus vegan options. There’s also unique merchandise in-store (hats, sweatsuits, t-shirts and more) sporting “kind-inspired” messages and the “Don’t Be a Dick” slogan. The Other Art Fair Los Angeles
