Venice Pride Festival & Parade

June 4-5. In celebration of pride month, Venice Beach Recreation Center hosts the Venice Pride Festival, a two day event with performances from an array of local artists including Gess, Boy Untitled, SNG, Boy Untitled, and more. This year the event debuts it’s first parade, showcasing marching bands and creative floats made by local businesses. Saturday and Sunday at 12 pm – 10pm. 1800 Ocean Front Walk, Venice. More Info

LAWineFest Returns 

June 4-5. The festival returns to Harry Bridges Memorial Park at the Long Beach Harbor for a premiere wine tasting event featuring award-winning wines from around the globe, crafted brews from local vendors, artisan shopping boutiques, live music and delicious food trucks. JAPAN HOUSE LA’s Hand-crafted Ramen Bowls

St. Joseph Center’s 45th Anniversary Gala Party

June 4. One of LA’s premiere homeless services organizations is celebrating it’s anniversary at the Petersen Automotive Museum. Causita (Peruvian slang for “best friends”), helmed by chef Ricardo Zarate, pairs the vibrant flavors of Peru with umami flavor profiles from Japan, bringing dishes such as lobster dumplings, grilled octopus in goat cheese mousse, seabass tamales, and ceviche. Still and Negrón with Dudamel

June 2. Dudamel conducts a blues symphony by the dean of African American composers, William Grant Still, one of the leading lights of the Harlem Renaissance. “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner” at Ruskin Group Theatre 

Opens June 3. Winner of the Oscar for original screenplay and Nominated for Best Written American Drama by the Writers Guild of America, “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner” is a rom-com story of interracial marriage and the conversations surrounding it.
