Van Gogh-Inspired Paint and Sip Night

July 15. JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. LIVE and Venice Beach-based art and design studio The Painted Peach present a special outdoor “paint and sip” night. Inspired by the Immersive Van Gogh exhibit, the event will have artist and designer Amanda Renata of The Painted Peach guide guests step-by-step on how to recreate the Dutch Post-Impressionist painter’s most famous work of art, The Starry Night, in abstract form. Movies & Moonlight: Toy Story 4

July 17. Sit back and relax with socially distanced outdoor movie nights at 2ND & PCH in Long Beach. Come just after sunset with the kiddos for a special feature of Disney’s Toy Story 4. These outdoor movies are complimentary to the community and self-seating is available on a first-come-first-serve basis. While there will be limited seating is provided by the center, guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets. Music at the Odyssey

July 17, 31. Jam out with live music, curated by bass player and actor John Snow (pictured), at the Odyssey Theatre. This live performance series features a wide range of musical guest artists, ranging from jazz to folk and R&B to pop, all accompanied by the house band. This week’s spotlight goes to Pique-Nique offering handmade sweet treats celebrating California’s produce palette by pastry-chef-turned-pickling-expert Jess Wang. Now Open. Get a taste of eclectic Indian cuisine at the new Arth Bar + Kitchen, located in the heart of Culver City. Executive chef Sagar Ghosh’s menu includes small plates (Kolkata fish fry, Old Monk Drunken Wings, crispy South Indian-style fried chicken bites), mains (street-style chicken curry, lobster moilee, slow-cooked Australian lamb leg), various sides, and more. Open. Housed in DTLA’s Arts District within the Hauser & Wirth Complex, Manuela is bringing the flavors and ambience of a summer getaway with its Garden Bar. Jackalope Indie Artisan Fair

July 17-18. Mark your calendar for the return of Jackalope Indie Artisan Fair at Old Pasadena after more than a year on hiatus. Alonzo King LINES Ballet Livestream
