Celebrate with the 2020 World Champions at their home with a drive-thru holiday experience complete with light show, LED video displays, fake snow and interactive displays. 61st Annual L.A. County Holiday Celebration

Dec. 24. A Christmas Eve tradition since 1959, L.A. County Holiday Celebration is uniquely L.A. with a little bit of everything from Folklorico dance to a Gospel choir to Hawaiian culture to jazz to Chinese New Year! It’s a showcase of the diverse cultures and talents from 22 different music ensembles, choirs and dance companies based in L.A. Fans can tune in or log on starting at 3 p.m. There’s also an encore presentation on KCET on Christmas Day at noon. 3-6 p.m. Free. musiccenter.org

Cinelounge Drive-In of Wonder Woman 1984

Through Jan. 7. Jump into action with the highly anticipated sequel to the superhero blockbuster film at Cinelounge’s drive-in theatre. Fans can buy tickets now to watch Wonder Woman 1984 as well as purchase 10 different flavors of Cinelounge’s popcorn in sealed packaging. Virtual Viewing Stones Show

Begins Dec. 26. The California Aiseki Kai presents its 31st annual show virtually this year, featuring outstanding examples of suiseki (small naturally occurring or shaped rocks) and other viewing stones. Practiced in Asia for centuries and gaining popularity around the world, the art of viewing stones invites contemplation of the subtle, often fanciful forms that have been shaped by nature, the elements and time. In addition, the American Viewing Stone Resource Center presents two complementary virtual displays to introduce children of all ages to the appreciation and display of natural stones. Alex Prager’s Farewell, Work Holiday Parties

Through Jan. 3. While indoor galleries at LACMA remain closed, the museum welcomes the public to walk up to the art sculptural installation, Farewell, Work Holiday Parties by L.A.-based artist Alex Prager, on the Smidt Welcome Plaza. In this installation, Prager satirizes a specific part of working life, drawing on pop culture tropes to create a simulation of office holiday parties. The Hip Hop Nutcracker

Through Jan. 3. Experience the magic of Tchaikovskyʼs holiday classic with a up-beat twist. Presented by Center Theatre Group and recorded live at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, The Hip Hop Nutcracker is a holiday mash-up directed and choreographed by Olivier Award nominated choreographer Jennifer Weber. This contemporary dance spectacle is set to Tchaikovskyʼs timeless music performed by a cast of a dozen all-star dancers, a DJ, a violinist and show opener MC Kurtis Blow—one of hip hopʼs founding fathers.
