Chargers NFL Draft Party

April 27. The Los Angeles Chargers host an NFL draft party with an opportunity to win giveaways, meet their favorite Chargers players, take part in interactive photo moments, enjoy a live performance by Chargers gameday DJ Esther Anaya, and much more. Pizza City Fest

April 29-30. L.A Live is hosting a festival dedicated to all things pizza, featuring over 35 vendors, live dough demos, and talks from renowned pizza experts such as Evan Funke of Mother Wolf and food writer Karen Palmer. Bob Baker Day

April 30. The Bob Baker Marionette Theater’s annual festival returns to celebrate the legacy of the famous puppeteer at LA State Historic Park. The festival features puppet performances, games, food trucks, live music, and more. This year’s Grand Marshal, Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio commences the opening ceremonies. Starts April 29. The largest outdoor cinema and music series in LA is back. Opening night features the award-winning film, Everything Everywhere All at Once. Take the tasty PATH

April 29. PATH will host its second annual Taste of Home food festival fundraiser at Sunset Las Palmas Studios in Hollywood, celebrating the LA dining scene while joining the movement to end homelessness. It will feature unlimited tastings from 20 local food vendors, drink tastings, fun activations, a food demonstration by Chef Poncho Martinez, live music by dublab, and more. Grand Opening of Coffee and Plants

Opens April 30. British pop-star Leona Lewis is set to open her second cafe, Coffee and Plants, in Studio City. Expect signature drinks such as the Rose Bowl latte, 24k charcoal latte, and the blue lavender latte, as well as new additions to the menu like the “Laurel latte” created in honor of the Studio City neighborhood. In celebration of the new opening, the first 20 customers who purchase a coffee will receive a complimentary Hoya Heart plant, planted in Coffee and Plants’ signature pink pot. The Spanish Beverly Hills hot spot, TATEL, is launching a new Tapas & Brunch menu featuring a varied selection of Spanish tapas, alongside a handful of American brunch dishes, trendy cocktails, and sangria. Ulysses Owens Jr. & J’nai Bridges at The Wallis

April 27. Opera star J’Nai Bridges and Grammy award-winning drummer Ulysses Owens, Jr. collaborate on a musical performance called “Notes of Hope.” It features an eclectic mix of French art songs, jazz and spirituals from the likes of Debussy, Ravel, Ellington, Mary Lou Williams, and more.
