Sea County Festival
Aug. 21-23. Laguna Niguel sends off summer with three days of carnival rides, games, food vendors, community booths and live music. This year’s lineup includes Those Guys, Adele vs. Bruno, Y2K2K! and Petty Party, with additional performances throughout the weekend. Entry is free; unlimited-ride wristbands cost $45 per person per day at the festival, while individual attraction tickets are also available. Glow Ball 18 – Hole Outing
Aug. 22. Join Gals On Par for a unique night of golf at David L. Baker Golf Course in Fountain Valley. from This 18-hole Glow Ball outing lets golfers hit the course under the lights with glow-in-the-dark balls. Tickets are $45 and include green fees, a shared cart, and glow balls. The event is currently sold out, but interested golfers can join the waitlist for a chance to participate if a spot opens. Telefèric Barcelona Arrives at Fashion Island
Now Open. Barcelona’s convivial tapas culture arrives in Newport Beach with shareable plates, made-to-order paellas and a deep Spanish wine list. The family-owned restaurant’s ninth U.S. location serves patatas bravas, jamón ibérico, garlic prawns, wagyu empanadas and grilled octopus, alongside paellas finished with optional socarrat—the crisp, caramelized rice at the bottom of the pan. Battle of the Arts Returns

Following its crowd-pleasing debut last summer, Battle of the Arts returns to the Festival of Arts of Laguna Beach, bringing Festival artists together for an afternoon of friendly competition, live creativity and, new this year, a ceramics challenge at the pottery wheel.
