FIFA Fan Festival Los Angeles Brings the World Cup to the Heart of the City

The world is coming to Los Angeles this summer, and one of the biggest celebrations won’t take place inside a stadium. From June 11-14, the FIFA Fan Festival™ Los Angeles will transform the historic Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum into a four-day gathering where football, music, food, and culture converge. As FIFA World Cup 2026 kicks off across North America, the festival will offer fans a chance to experience the energy of the tournament beyond the pitch, creating a shared space where supporters from around the globe can celebrate together.

Large-scale match broadcasts will anchor each day, bringing some of the tournament’s most anticipated games to one of Los Angeles’ most iconic venues. Opening day on June 11 features Mexico versus South Africa, followed by Canada versus Bosnia and Herzegovina and USA versus Paraguay on June 12. The weekend continues with Brazil versus Morocco and Haiti versus Scotland on June 13, before Germany faces Curaçao and the Netherlands takes on Japan on June 14.

Beyond the matches, the festival will showcase the cultural diversity that defines Los Angeles. Visitors can expect live entertainment, interactive activations, community programming, and food offerings inspired by neighborhoods and cultures from across the region. The result is a celebration designed to reflect both the global spirit of the World Cup and the unique character of Los Angeles.

“The FIFA Fan Festival is where the heartbeat of the World Cup lives,” said Cobi Jones, Los Angeles World Cup 2026 Community Ambassador. “This summer, Los Angeles won’t just be hosting matches — we’ll be hosting the world. From the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum to neighborhoods across the region, the Official FIFA Fan Festival will bring people together to celebrate the game, the culture, and the incredible diversity that makes LA special.”

The celebration will extend far beyond Exposition Park through a network of official Los Angeles World Cup 26 Fan Zones. Community events are scheduled throughout the region, including stops at Original Farmers Market (June 18-21), Union Station (June 25-28), Hansen Dam Recreation Area (July 2-5), Earvin ‘Magic’ Johnson Park (July 4-5), Whittier Narrows Recreation Area (July 9-11), Venice Beach (July 10-11), Fairplex (July 14-15 and July 18-19), West Harbor (July 14-15 and July 18-19), and Burbank (July 18-19).

For Los Angeles, the World Cup represents more than a sporting event. It is an opportunity to showcase the city’s cultures, communities, and global connections on one of the world’s biggest stages. For four days in June, the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum will become the front porch of that celebration, welcoming the world to experience the tournament through an unmistakably Los Angeles lens.
