March 27. A new Mid-City outpost arrives on La Brea as LOQUI expands its footprint with a 30-seat space designed in collaboration with SAINT, featuring warm wood accents, stucco walls and custom artwork by local artist Ellie Richards. Known for its laid-back approach, the menu centers on tacos and bowls with options like achiote-marinated chicken, beef birria, pork cochinita, spicy garlic butter shrimp and mushrooms in chile oil and soy, alongside its signature Northern Mexico-style flour tortillas, quesadillas and housemade salsas. Starts March 28. A new production from Los Angeles-based company Diavolo blends athleticism and architecture as dancers climb, soar and balance across custom-built structures. Created by Jacques Heim, Escape explores movement, space and time in the troupe’s intimate black box theater, offering a close-up view of its signature, gravity-defying choreography. 33rd Annual Los Angeles Women’s Theatre Festival 

March 26-29. The longest-running solo festival for women in Los Angeles returns with the theme “The Strength We Carry,” marking its 33rd year with a multicultural lineup of performers from around the world. The festival opens with a catered Champagne gala in Hollywood before continuing in North Hollywood with a weekend of multidisciplinary performances spanning dance, opera, puppetry, and storytelling across six programs. Cherry Blossom Cultural Festival Brings Dance, Music and Art to Torrance

March 29. Spend an afternoon beneath blooming cherry blossoms at this annual Pan-Asian celebration in Torrance, featuring live dance performances and traditional Japanese folk music.
