Mariah Carey’s Holiday Bar

Now Open. Skybar at the Mondrian Los Angeles transforms into a full-blown Mariah Carey–themed holiday escape, complete with wall-to-wall décor inspired by the “Queen of Christmas.” Guests can expect album-backdrop photo ops, festive bites, themed cocktails, interactive installations and plenty of merch. A dedicated “Letters to Mariah Carey” station anchors the space and “All I Want for Christmas Is You” plays every 30 minutes. Stellantis at the 2025 Los Angeles Auto Show

Now-Nov. 30. Stellantis brings high-adrenaline test tracks and first looks at its 2026 lineup to the Los Angeles Auto Show, with Jeep, Dodge, FIAT, Chrysle and Alfa Romeo previewing next-year models and new tech. Guests can take on Camp Jeep, the West Hall’s immersive off-road course featuring pro-driver test rides in the Wrangler Rubicon 4xe, Wrangler Rubicon 392, Gladiator Rubicon and more. The track highlights Jeep capability through ground-clearance climbs, traction tests, articulation challenges and steep approach obstacles. Additional brand activations include Drive! Holiday Ice Rink Pershing Square

Now Open. Downtown turns festive as the Pershing Square Holiday Ice Rink returns, bringing a slice of winter to the middle of the city’s skyscrapers. Visitors can lace up and glide under the lights, with skate rentals included in admission; lockers and skating aids are available for a small additional fee. LA Turkey Trot

Nov. 27. The 13th Annual Turkey Trot Los Angeles hits Downtown on Thanksgiving morning with one-mile, 5K and 10K routes that wind past landmarks like the Walt Disney Concert Hall before the city wakes. The run starts at City Hall and wraps with a post-race festival at Grand Park, with proceeds supporting local nonprofits including the Midnight Mission. Fourth Fridays in Long Beach 

Nov. 28. Retro Row turns Black Friday into a neighborhood block party as 4th Street businesses (Temple to Cherry) stay open late for Fourth Fridays. Expect local artist pop-ups, live entertainment, food and shop specials and a lineup of independent vendors bringing color and creativity to Long Beach’s vintage corridor. To make it easier to explore the stretch, the event partners with DRIVER to offer free shuttle service for attendees. A low-stress, community-focused way to shop local after the holiday. Thanksgiving at Harold & Belle’s

Nov. 27. For the first time in over 50 years, Harold & Belle’s in Jefferson Park will open on Thanksgiving Day with a $45 prix-fixe menu alongside its full à la carte offerings. Guests can choose between Cajun turkey with cornbread dressing, candied yams and French bread or a beef pot roast with the same classic sides. Holy Basil Soft Opens in Santa Monica

Nov. 29. The Westside gets its own Holy Basil as chefs Wedchayan “Deau” Arpapornnopparat and Tongkamal “Joy” Yuon expand their Bangkok- and Central Thai–inspired cooking to Santa Monica. The menu features dishes like beef tataki, bangkok crab fried rice, pad kee mao moo krob and rad na mee krob, paired with Joy’s non-alcoholic drinks such as Hibiscus Agave Oolong and Dragonfruit Rosemary. Designed with Dutra Brown, the space includes custom tiles by Deau—layered with family photos and nods to the restaurant’s history, including a subtle reference to the broken window at their original Santee Alley walk-up. Opens this Saturday, 5-9 p.m. holybasil-la.com

Potluck at Weary Livers Bar

Nov. 27. Weary Livers Bar in Santa Monica hosts a laid-back Thanksgiving Potluck with The Confetti Club LA and Los Angeles Fun Events, inviting locals and visitors to share food, meet new people and ease into the holiday spirit. Guests are encouraged to bring a dish, plus a little gratitude, while the bar keeps things lively with Jenga, shuffleboard and karaoke throughout the night. The Yubu Craze Hits Koreatown

Now Open. The viral Korean sushi pocket spot King Yubu has landed at MaDang Mall in Koreatown, bringing its colorful lineup of stuffed fried tofu pockets to one of LA’s busiest cultural hubs. The menu centers on its signature yubu—pillowy tofu pockets filled with seasoned rice and topped with everything from spicy salmon and garlic tuna to crab mayo, mentaiko and eel. Guests can mix and match flavors, build trays, or try specials like the volcano pocket, the garlic spam yubu, or the double salmon combo. Don’t Look Behind You: Paranormal Activity Onstage

Now Playing. The Ahmanson Theatre unleashes an R-rated stage adaptation set in the Paranormal Activity universe, written by Levi Holloway and powered by illusions from Tony Award–winner Chris Fisher (Harry Potter & the Cursed ChildStranger Things: The First Shadow). The production follows James and Lou as they leave Chicago for London, only to discover the haunting follows them. With direction first developed by Felix Barrett (Sleep No More), the show leans into psychological tension and sharp visual effects designed to shake even seasoned horror fans. Showtimes vary. How to Be a Guerrilla Girl

Now Open. The Getty Center marks the 40th anniversary of the Guerrilla Girls—anonymous feminist artists known for their gorilla masks, sharp statistics and bold activism—with a behind-the-scenes exhibition highlighting their photography, protest art and iconic posters demanding equity for women and artists of color. The show features a newly commissioned work created for the occasion plus an interactive “graffiti wall” where visitors can add their own commentary. Programming throughout the exhibition includes a conversation with Roxane Gay, a feminist Valentine’s Day mail-art workshop, curator-led cocktail receptions, tours and more. Bob Baker Marionette Theater’s Holiday Special: Winter Wonderland

Now Open. The Bob Baker Marionette Theater rings in the season with a reimagined year-end production—formerly Holiday on Strings—now presented as a festive holiday special filled with puppets in party attire singing classic carols. The hour-long show at the Highland Park theater follows host Demitrius Nova Twinklestar III through sledding slopes, caroling penguins, Santa’s workshop and other BBMT holiday traditions.
