Ice at Santa Monica Returns for Its 17th Season 

Starts Nov. 7. A beloved coastal holiday tradition returns for its 17th season, transforming Downtown Santa Monica into a festive seaside rink. The grand opening celebration will feature free skating, a live DJ, on-ice performances and a snow surprise. Admission is $22 for a 60-minute session, including skate rental, with daily hours from 12–10PM. Explore Music and Innovation at the GRAMMY Museum’s Free Roland Day

Nov. 8. Experience a full day of music, creativity and technology at the GRAMMY Museum, where Roland Day returns with free admission for all guests. LA Opera and Beth Morrison Projects Present HILDEGARD

Set in 1147, HILDEGARD follows German Benedictine abbess, composer, and mystic St. Hildegard von Bingen as she risks excommunication to document her divine visions with the help of fellow nun Richardis von Stade, forging a profound partnership that defies convention and challenges erasure. The debut opera by composer-librettist Sarah Kirkland Snider explores faith, art and the human desire for connection. L.A. Sings! What a Beautiful City

The Los Angeles Master Chorale joins forces with MUSE/IQUE Artistic & Music Director Rachael Worby for What a Beautiful City, a joyful mega sing-along that transforms the audience into one harmonious choir. OutfestNEXT Returns to L.A.

The Los Angeles–based nonprofit Outfest, dedicated to uplifting LGBTQ+ storytellers in film and entertainment, announces the 2025 edition of OutfestNEXT, a four-day showcase of boundary-pushing queer cinema. Screenings and receptions will take place at the LA LGBT Center’s Renberg Theatre and LOOK Cinema Glendale, featuring 20 films spanning features, shorts and archival works that celebrate authentic representation and innovation in storytelling. The Dinosaurs Have Arrived at South Coast Botanic Garden
