Closing Night of Newport Beach Film Festival

Oct. 23. The final night of the acclaimed Newport Beach Film Festival arrives, including a premier showing of Director Guillermo del Toro’s, Frankenstein. Committed to championing the work of original storytellers from around the globe, the Festival celebrates contemporary screen culture and cinematic excellence, engaging the community in compelling conversations with filmmakers and artists. Anaheim Fall Festival and Halloween Parade Returns 

Oct. 25. Since 1923, the Anaheim Fall Festival has embodied the city’s community spirit. Held at Center Greens in Downtown Anaheim, it features live performances, crafts, photo ops, costume contests, and a marketplace of local artists and food vendors. The celebration concludes with the iconic Halloween Parade, blending Anaheim’s heritage with Halloween, Día de Los Muertos, and harvest traditions. Returning for the first time since 1957, the Classic Car Show showcases American-made models from 1923–1975 along Center Street. Doheny Woody Car Show 

Oct. 25. Since beginning in 1997, this club has grown close to 200 members from California, North Carolina, Arizona, Minnesota, Tennessee and Idaho. Their goal is to promote the Wooden Car and the role it has played throughout automotive history, especially in the California surf culture. Come enjoy this collection of true classics – over 100 Classic Woodies and Beachcruisers. Food, friends, fun, raffles and awards. This Saturday, hours are specific, check website for details. 8th Annual: Halloween Spooktacular

Oct. 25. Come out for the 8th Annual Halloween Spooktacular at Mariners Park. This free community event includes music, trunk-or-treat area, a haunted walkthrough, carnival games, bounce houses, costume contests, food trucks, and fun for the whole family. Pumpkin decorating will also be returning thanks to our friends in the City Arts Commission (while supplies last). Food will be available for purchase from local favorites. Westminster’s Halloween Spooktacular

Oct. 25. Come out for a night of spooky fun at the Westminster Civic Center. Westminster’s Halloween Spooktacular will host a variety of ghoulish activities, games, food, fun, and more. Artist Talk: Eternal Construction

A Musical Celebration of Harry Belafonte with René Marie

Oct. 25. Grammy-nominated vocalist and songwriter René Marie pays homage to the iconic Jamaica-born and Calypsonian actor, singer and activist Harry Belafonte.
