For those who love working out and crave a high-energy, community-driven fitness experience, Rumble Boxing in West Hollywood is your next go-to destination. Nestled at the heart of a bustling neighborhood, this location is not just a gym—it’s a social club where fitness enthusiasts and celebrities alike come to sweat it out and have fun.
The Rumble Boxing Experience
Rumble Boxing is more than just a boxing-inspired workout; it’s an immersive experience that combines the intensity of boxing with the energy of a nightclub. Co-founded by fitness icons Noah Neiman, Eugene Remm), Andy Stenzler, and Anthony DiMarco, Rumble Boxing brings together top-tier fitness with cutting-edge technology and a vibrant atmosphere.
Each 50-minute class is a blend of full-body strength training and conditioning, set to custom hip-hop and house mash-ups. The specially designed, water-filled punching bags add a unique twist to the workout, ensuring that each session is both challenging and fun. As soon as you step into the studio, you’re greeted by the pulsating beats of modern classics mixed with timeless hits from artists like Biggie and Prince. The environment is dark, with glowing lights that sync with the music, creating a club-like atmosphere that keeps you motivated and energized.
The West Hollywood Vibe
I had the chance to check out the West Hollywood location and it was a sight to see: The interior features iconic artwork, such as portraits of famous rappers, giant Rumble Boxing punching bags, and a whimsical statue of a bear with boxing gloves by renowned artist WhIsBe. The pop-art aesthetic, inspired by Andy Warhol, gives the studio a unique and energetic feel. The lockers are conveniently located, making it easy to gear up and get ready to rumble. The staff made me feel right at home and I even had the pleasure of meeting Noah Neiman’s two adorable dogs.
Once inside the workout session, the experience is both intimate and exhilarating. The DJ-like setting, with pulsating lights and high-energy music, keeps everyone focused. The room’s dark ambiance ensures that you can concentrate on your workout without distractions. Noah Neiman himself joined the session, bringing his passion and energy to every punch and squat. His dedication to the brand is evident, and it was inspiring to see him lead by example.
My Interview with Noah Neiman
After the workout, I had the chance to sit down with Noah Neiman and discuss his vision for Rumble Boxing and its impact on the local community.
Rumble Boxing has grown to 80 studios nationwide. What was your initial vision for the brand, and how has it evolved over the years?
“My initial vision for Rumble Boxing was born out of a deep passion for fitness and a desire to create a community where people could come together and push their limits. I started working in a fitness studio and quickly realized that my enthusiasm for working out was infectious. People were drawn to the energy I brought to my sessions. As I built connections and relationships with clients, it became clear that there was a real demand for a fitness experience that was both challenging and enjoyable.
When I decided to start Rumble Boxing in New York, my goal was to create a space where people could experience the intensity of boxing training combined with the atmosphere of a high-energy club. Over the years, Rumble Boxing has evolved, but the core principle of providing an exceptional workout experience in a vibrant community setting has remained the same. Each location may have its unique design elements, but the essence of Rumble Boxing—the music, the lights, the energy—stays consistent.”
As the owner of the West Hollywood studio, how do you see Rumble Boxing impacting the local community, and what unique aspects does this location bring to the brand?
“West Hollywood is a unique and vibrant community, and Rumble Boxing fits right in. This area attracts a diverse crowd, from celebrities and influencers to everyday fitness enthusiasts. We see people coming in for private workouts or even shooting music videos, but we also welcome anyone who wants to experience a great workout in a fun environment.
The artwork and design of the West Hollywood studio reflect the local culture and energy. We’ve incorporated themes and elements that resonate with the community here, creating a space that feels both exclusive and welcoming. Our team members are dedicated to providing a top-notch experience for everyone who walks through our doors, ensuring that each person feels valued and motivated.”
What are your plans for the future of the brand? Are there any new innovations or locations we can look forward to?
“Looking ahead, our focus is on maintaining the high standards we’ve set and continuing to deliver the exceptional experience that our members love. We’re always exploring ways to enhance our offerings and keep things fresh. One of the things I’m most proud of is the consistency we’ve achieved across all our locations. It’s not easy to maintain that level of quality, but it’s something we strive for every day.
In terms of growth, we’re excited about the possibilities, but we also want to ensure that we don’t lose sight of what makes Rumble Boxing special. We’re constantly looking at new locations and opportunities, but the key is to stay true to our core values and continue to deliver the unique Rumble Boxing experience. For instance, our clientele is about 70% female, which speaks to the inclusive and welcoming environment we’ve created. Our workouts are tough, and we’ve found a way to make them accessible and enjoyable for everyone, regardless of fitness level. We’re thrilled to see how Rumble Boxing continues to evolve and grow.”
