Masters of Taste

April 7. Join the seventh annual Masters of Taste, held on the Pasadena Rose Bowl field. Enjoy an array of offerings from more than 100 culinary chefs and restaurants, including Pez Cantina, 1212 Santa Monica, Fat Boys, Mercado, among others. Elvis Presley’s Pop-Up Experience

April 4-5. A pop-up bar in L.A. is reviving the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll’s Jungle Room from Memphis. For two nights, immerse yourself in one of Elvis Presley’s Graceland settings, complete with themed beverages, Memphis-inspired bites and live music. This experience not only recreates the distinctive atmosphere of the Jungle Room, but also celebrates its historical significance as the venue where Elvis recorded hits like “Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain” and “Moody Blue” during The Jungle Room sessions. L.A Beer Fest

March 6. The 16th annual LA Fall Beer Festival, set to unfold at LA Center Studios, brings together an impressive lineup of over 80 breweries offering 200 distinct beers. This popular event will also feature 15 of LA’s top food trucks, live bands, a Power 106 DJ and more. Bergamot Comedy Fest

Until April 6. A week-long festival at the Bergamot Station Arts Center that melds comedy with culture as it features live performances and showcases by approximately 55 stand-up comedians, alongside workshops, panels and community events. Held in Santa Monica’s gallery complex, the festival showcases a blend of emerging talents and established acts, with a strong emphasis on female-fronted shows. Ye Olde King’s Head 50th Birthday

DTLA’s Asterid by Ray Garcia Turns Two

Until April 27. Marking its second anniversary, Ray Garcia’s asterid rolls out a L.A-inspired four-course menu, continuing “the asterid experience” series that celebrates themes or ingredients monthly. This $98 per person menu features dishes representing LA’s diverse neighborhoods, ending with a tres leches cake dessert. I Believe: The Music of Bach, Bonds & Robles

April 6-7. In line with Bach’s inspiration, the Chorale will premiere Zanaida Robles’s “The Song of Significance,” blending faith and artistry as also seen in their rendition of Bach’s motifs and Margaret Bonds’s musical interpretation of W.E.B. DuBois’s “Credo.” The event gains further allure with Lara Downes, celebrated pianist and Classical California radio host, leading Classical California KUSC’s “I Believe” initiative for its second year. First Fridays: The Nature of Gender

April 6. The Natural History Museum transforms the first Friday of each month into an evening of music and discovery, curated by KCRW.
