OC Animal Care Pet-Drive
Sept. 10. During Saturday’s adoption event, Supervisor Foley’s office will waive adoption fees for up to 200 pets. Additionally, there will be a drive-through pet food pantry will provide free food and necessities from 8 a.m. – 10 a.m.; adoption fees will be waived from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.; and Pooches on the Patio, a volunteer-led doggy meet and greet event, will take place from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Walk-in visits are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Khan Saab Launches Fundraiser to Help Pakistan Flood Relief
Now Available. Khan Saab Desi Craft Kitchen has launched a fundraiser to support Pakistan flood relief, as more than one-third of the country is underwater. On Tuesdays, through October 15th, the restaurant is donating 15% of all sales to help the victims.
