The new Cirque du Soleil touring show inspired by James Cameron’s movie Avatar, Toruk—The First Flight, comes to Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario Nov. 2-6, Staples Center downtown Nov. 11-13 and Valley View Casino Center in San Diego Nov. 23-27. Set thousands of years before Avatar, the show transports audiences to the world of Pandora through cutting-edge visuals, puppetry and stagecraft and a soaring cinematic score. The immersive experience is an ode to the Na’vis’ symbiotic coexistence with nature and their belief in the interconnectedness of all living things. When a natural catastrophe threatens to destroy the sacred Tree of Souls, two Omaticaya boys fearlessly take matters into their own hands.
