Other amenities include a dedicated area for house-made gelato, a traditional espresso bar and a cannoli station. The new Westfield Century City location marks Eataly’s first West Coast expansion. Opens at 6 p.m. 10250 Santa Monica Blvd., Century City. eataly.com

The restaurant’s name, Best Girl, is an ode to cinema luminary Mary Pickford for her film My Best Girl which premiered at The Theatre at Ace Hotel on October 31, 1927, 90 years prior to the restaurant opening its doors.
