Springtime Tours with Triton Charters

Sabor Latino Food, Beer & Spirits Fest

March 23. A specialty event as part of the 31st annual San Diego Latino Film Festival (which runs through March 24), the eighth annual Sabor Latino Food, Beer & Spirits Fest takes place on Saturday at Mission Valley Mall. Corner Pizza at Bressi Ranch

Now Open. Known for its Brooklyn-style pies and casual-cool vibe, North County pizzeria Corner Pizza (with locations in Leucadia and Oceanside) has opened its third location at Bressi Ranch. Choose from at least a dozen pizzas, such as the popular Killer BEE with charred pepperoni, soppressata, gorgonzola, mozzarella, rosemary and chili honey (and request an extra crispy crust or the “Dirty Crust”). Louisiana Purchase’s 5th Anniversary

“Culinary Concerto” Mainly Mozart Gala

March 22. Renowned classical music outfit Mainly Mozart presents its “Culinary Concerto” fundraising gala at the JULEP. The event’s culinary director, chef Claudia Sandoval (pictured), has curated an assemblage of 24 acclaimed chefs, who will prepare 24 unique menus tableside; plus pairings from 24 wineries spanning Paso Robles to Baja’s Valle de Guadalupe. Chefs include Tara Monsod, Adria Marina, Sam “The Cooking Guy” Zien, Michelle Mathelin and more. Lyle Lovett in Concert at The Magnolia

March 24. The Magnolia (the event and performing arts venue recently underwent a $7 million renovation) presents “An Evening with Lyle Lovett and His Acoustic Group” on Sunday. Known for his hit songs like “Cowboy Man” and “If I Had a Boat,” the country singer, songwriter and record producer has recorded 14 albums and released 25 singles to date.
