S.D. Symphony Concerts at The Rady Shell
July 11 & 13. On Friday at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park, catch a screening of the blockbuster Top Gun: Maverick, with the film’s score performed live by the San Diego Symphony Orchestra. On Sunday: Beethoven by the Bay—a special concert with the Symphony and violinist Clara-Jumi Kang (pictured). The repertoire spans Beethoven’s Coriolan Overture; his Symphony No. 6, “Pastoral”; and Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto. San Diego Pride Bar Crawl
July 12. Get into the San Diego Pride 2025 spirit with this festive, community-oriented bar hop in celebration of love, diversity and equality. San Diego Pride Week

San Diego’s five-day Pride celebration is among the largest in the U.S. Festivities kick off with Light Up the Cathedral—celebrating its 10th anniversary—at St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral (2728 Sixth Ave., Bankers Hill) on July 16. Marine Band S.D. Concert in Little Italy
July 12. The Little Italy Association presents a special summer concert by the Marine Band San Diego at the Piazza della Famiglia. Celebrating 250 years of the U.S. Marine Corps, the 35-piece Marine Band ensemble performs a wide variety of music at civilian events and military ceremonies throughout San Diego and the U.S. On Saturday, they pay homage to iconic American composers, including John Philip Sousa, George Gershwin, Robert Russell Bennett, John Williams and Henry Fillmore. 7 p.m. Free. The Old Globe: The Janeiad
Through July 13. The Old Globe presents the world-premiere play, The Janeiad, written by Anna Ziegler and directed by Maggie Burrows. New Exhibit at MOPA@SDMA
Now On View. MOPA@SDMA presents a new exhibit, Mirae kh RHEE: Constellations. Born in Seoul and raised in the U.S. after her adoption, Berlin-based artist Mirae kh RHEE brings us an immersive installation charting a course through the universe’s vast unknown—infusing her personal journey with ancient myths, Korean objects and constellations. North Coast Rep: A Gentleman’s Guide…
