Belmont Park
April 20.
San Diego’s iconic boardwalk destination, Belmont Park is hosting a brunch-and-hunt at the beach, including a special appearance from the Easter Bunny. Guests can enjoy a delicious seaside brunch at the Wave House from 9 a.m.- 1 p.m. and a fun-filled Easter Egg Hunt on the sand with waves beginning each hour. Or hop from shop to shop for free Easter egg giveaways at the Belmont Park merchants, which will be giving out up to 10,000 eggs stuffed with Belmont Park prices including free rides, sweet treats and attractions. 3146 Mission Blvd., San Diego. 858.228.9283.

Bertrand at Mister A’s
April 20. The iconic 12th floor restaurant will host a three-course Easter brunch featuring dishes such as oven-roasted leg of lamb, prime rib, lobster bisque and Hawaiian bread French toast, as well as decadent desserts, including carrot cake with toffee sauce and local farm strawberry shortcake. 10 a.m.-2 p.m. $49.50/pp. Easter dinner service will also be available between 5-8:30 p.m. 2550 Fifth Ave (12th floor), San Diego. 619.239.1377.

April 12-13. Head to Bice one week ahead of the holiday to learn the art of creating an Italian “Pasqua” (Easter) meal. The menu for this hands-on two-day class will include some of Italy’s most authentic Easter recipes such as shaved green salad made with ingredients from the local farmer’s market, naturally flavored fresh mint pappardelle with lamb sauce, and torta Pasqualina, a savory, traditional Easter pie from Liguria. 425 Island Ave, San Diego. 619.239.2423.

With bottomless mimosas for the adults and a pancake decoration station for the kids, Cusp has mastered the holiday brunch. The buffet is stocked with inventive brunch fare by Chef Donald Lockhart. On the way out, kids can also pick up a special Easter treat basket. Dallmann Fine Chocolates

Isabella Knack has given her artisan chocolates a seasonal spin with a special collection of chocolate eggs filled with flavors like peanut butter and jelly, sea salt caramel and toffee. Flower Hill Promenade
April 19.
Del Mar’s premier outdoor shopping district invites egg-hunters of all ages to hunt for Easter treasure. Check in at Geppetto’s Toys to receive a treasure map, which will direct you to participating shops to collect stamps and Easter treats. The famous Easter Bunny will also be there to help with the scavenger hunt, post for photos and hop around from noon-2 p.m. 2720 Via De La Valle, Del Mar. 858.481.2904.

Hotel Del Coronado
April 20. Kick off Easter with a good old-fashioned egg hunt on the oceanfront Windsor Lawn. Follow that with a champagne brunch buffet in the lavish Ballroom or the magnificent Crown Room with delectable dishes and live musical entertainment. The south end of the Windsor Lawn will also be the site for a fun zone with crafts for all ages from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Keep an eye out for the roaming Easter Bunny. Hunt for the Bunny’s hidden treasures in a slightly more sophisticated atmosphere with Jsix’s egg-citing eats. The restaurant recently debuted a brand new look, and with it, Chef Christian Graves spruced up the menu. The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe is hosting an Easter Brunch for hotel guests and local residents alike, including made-to-order omelets and crepes, oven roasted salmon, assorted meats, a carving station, a seafood raw bar, a salad bar, bagels and lox, and a dessert bar. The US Grant

The hotel’s Easter champagne brunch buffet includes indulgences like an eggs Benedict station, a candy bar station that highlights candy bars created during the Prohibition Era, omelet station, fresh seafood station, an oyster bar, honey glazed Kurobuta pork rack and more, including live entertainment and photos with the Easter Bunny.
