Historic Anaheim Packing House Is An Orange County Culinary Destination

Grand-Opening-3-INTEXT
The revitalized Anaheim Packing House

The newly transformed Anaheim Packing House is now a public food hall, offering a distinct gathering place for local food, drinks and live music.

The Anaheim Packing House used to be the place where local farmers prepped and packed freshly picked citrus into wooden crates for nationwide shipping, now the revitalized location celebrates the rich agricultural history of Orange County by showcasing more than 20 hand-selected culinary artisans. Find a juice bar, butcher and baker as well as a handcrafted sandwich shop, fresh seafood, Indian fare, pizzeria, coffee shop and chocolatier, among others—all of which serve in a communal dining hall that spills to outside covered porches on rail cars.

Among the many artisan food purveyors in this public market type setting, stop by ADYA for tasty Indian street food, The Chippy for authentic fish and chips, Cafecito Organico for  small batch organic coffee, and Popbar for handcrafted gelato on a stick.

Once you have your food, head next door to Farmers Park, an outdoor greenbelt marketplace hosting an array of community activities including outdoor concerts, movies, and a weekly Certified Farmers Market on Sundays.

Open daily at 10:30 a.m. 440 S. Anaheim Blvd., Anaheim, 714.533.7225. packingdistrict.com
