Dried flowers and unusual blooms at French Buckets at Lido Marina Village

Flower stands—and a pop-up flower truck—are blooming.

Looking for a flower arrangement? You can find some of the best in Orange County—appropriately enough—in the open air.

Sussanna Davidson’s style at French Buckets, a stand at Lido Marina Village in Newport Beach, is artistic, organic and feminine. Her background is in fine art; inspired by the smallest of details, she favors dried flowers and unusual blooms. She also has a brick-and-mortar shop in Laguna Beach. 3434 Via Lido, Newport Beach, 949.759.0404, frenchbuckets.net

Raised amid dogwood and cherry blossoms in Georgia, Bettina Miller studied architecture and interior design in Chicago and poured her passion for color and texture into her Every Bloomin’ Thing cart in Costa Mesa. Her style: “lush abundant gardenesque with a European pavé twist … art from the heart.” 250 E. 17th St., Costa Mesa, 949.646.7899, everybloominthingoc.com

Christina Roberts’  love of flowers and classic cars come together in her Petals & Leaf Springs Flower Truck—a stick-shift 1965 Econoline pickup she calls Wallie. She and Wallie host popups where participants create their own bouquets. The name honors the organic—petals—and the mechanical: Leaf springs are part of a truck suspension. petalsandleafsprings.com
