It’s no secret that Newport Beach hosts some of the best restaurants in Orange County. During Newport Beach Restaurant Week, you can indulge your inner-foodie during the longest running restaurant week in Orange County. The annual event features specially priced prix-fixe menus for lunch and dinner at 61 top restaurants in Newport Beach from Jan. 18-31. Feed your curiosity and try new places or revisit your favorites. From budget-friendly to health-conscious, restaurant week has something for everyone. Check out some of our favorites.

Fig & Olive
Transport yourself to the French Riviera with the fresh flavors of Fig & Olive. Butternut squash and chestnut soup, winter vegetables linguini, lemon chicken tajine and paella del mar are a few of the items to select from the lunch and dinner menus during Newport Beach Restaurant Week. An optional crostini tasting (chef’s choice) for an additional $9 is a must-have. Dessert included in both lunch and dinner menu. Back Bay Bistro
Pair gorgeous views with a wide variety of indulgent dishes. You nearly get free reign on the regular menu when choosing what you want to eat for lunch or dinner. A two-course, $20 lunch starts with a soup or salad and includes mains like the pesto chicken sandwich, grilled baja fish tacos and the New York Reuben sandwich. Noteworthy entrees on the three-course dinner menu include a mustard and fresh herb-crusted rack of lamb and the award-winning seafood chowder. You’re also getting a deal; entrees on the dinner menu normally range from $19-$34, but are all included as options for the $40 three-course restaurant week menu. Red O
Taste the highly acclaimed Mexican cuisine of Chef Rick Bayless in Red O’s upscale vacation-inspired atmosphere. Lunch and dinner appetizers include Mary’s duck taquitos (slow-cooked duck leg, tomato-árbol chile sauce and wild baby arugula) and fresh corn and goat cheese tamales; while entrees range from classic Mexican dishes like enchiladas suizas to a tender, 8-oz., wood-grilled filet Mignon. The lobster roll at Slapfish


Savor creative creations ranging from $5-$10–from a lobster carnitas burrito to crispy tuna tacos–during Slapfish’s lunch. For dinner, try mashups like chowder fries: French fries smothered in clam chowder and topped with a fried egg and bacon, and a Chicago-style lobster dog. What’s a lobster dog? Enjoy one of Hopdoddy’s signature craft burgers or an artisan salad with your choice of hand-cut Kennebec fries or a hand-churned milkshake. The restaurant’s lunch options include corn chowder, the Bungalow salad or a caesar salad for the first course. Enjoy options like a shrimp BLT or a hoison-glazed shrimp and mango salad for the mains. (Add dessert for $5.) The Ritz Prime Seafood
Located along Mariner’s Mile, The Ritz Prime Seafood will feature a delectable three-course dinner in a beautiful waterfront setting. Enjoy the soup of the day or The Ritz caesar salad to start. For the second course, choose between Faroe Island salmon with kohlrabi cream, jidori chicken with corn and bacon pudding and pan roasted jus, or American wagyu short ribs with whipped Yukon potatoes, demi-glace and cipollini onions.
