OC Parks Summer Concert Series
June 20-Aug. 29. Rock out to local and nationally known artists at outdoor concerts every Thursday night all summer long. Venues include Craig Regional Park, Mason Regional Park, Irvine Regional Park, Mile Square Regional Park and Bluff Park at Salt Creek Beach. The series kicks off with Hard Day’s Night on June 20 and continues with events featuring Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Sega Genecide and the Fenians. Pirate Coast Paddle Co. Glow Tours
Beginning June 21. Spend your evening on an LED light-adorned paddleboard or kayak on the bay; see marine life only visible at night on this excursion Friday and Saturday nights through Labor Day. Summer Solstice at Great Wolf Lodge
June 21. Mark the official start of summer with the longest pool party ever. To celebrate the solstice, Great Wolf Lodge hosts a “Don’t Let the Sun Set!” event at its indoor waterpark. Beer Choir
June 22. The Orange County Women’s Chorus and Pacific Chorale co-host the inaugural “Beer Choir,” a sing-along performance on the Julianne and George Argyros Plaza. Representatives from both choirs take turns leading the singing. Food and drink are available for purchase from George’s Café. Star Wars Day at the OC Zoo

Now Open. The new restaurant near Lido Isle celebrates the spirit of the Irish people with its stylish decor, everything-from-scratch menu and rich bar program. Chef David Shofner’s dishes include rotisserie and wood-fired dishes such as a rotisserie porchetta roll and smoked bone-in short rib at lunch, Icelandic cod fish and chips, rabbit fricassee and cracked pepper bucatini at dinner. Baroque Music Festival
June 23-30. The annual festival presents five concerts in eight days. Attend stylistically authentic performances of works from the Baroque period at various locations in Corona del Mar. Kickin’ Back
Through Sept. 22. Sit back and relax at Sherman Library & Gardens with Kickin’ Back, an exhibit of colorful, funky, over-sized garden furniture.
