Carnival Colossal

Oct. 8-11. Carnival Colossal returns to San Clemente for four days of rides, games, food, live music, and family fun. The annual event features classic carnival attractions including bumper cars, the Gravitron, Super Slide, midway games, food trucks, and more. Admission is free, with ride tickets available at the event. Proceeds from the Friends of San Clemente’s largest annual fundraiser support the city’s beaches, parks, playgrounds, and youth recreation programs. Harvest In The Hills

Oct. 10. Harvest in the Hills returns to the Laguna Hills Community Center Town Green for an evening of fall fun and family-friendly activities. The free community event features seasonal activities, entertainment, and a chance to enjoy the outdoors with neighbors and friends. Placentia Heritage Festival

Oct. 10. Come for a special celebration of Placentia’s history and community. This year’s theme, “Stars, Stripes, and Stories,” marks both America’s 250th anniversary and the City of Placentia’s centennial year. The festival will feature community activities, entertainment, vendors, a beer garden, food, and a community car show. The celebration also includes the annual Heritage Festival Parade. Oct. 10. The Irvine Global Village Festival returns to Great Park for its 25th anniversary, celebrating Irvine’s diverse cultures through food, art, music, and entertainment. Visitors can enjoy more than 46 music and dance performances, international cuisine from more than 30 food vendors, cultural exhibits, martial arts demonstrations, and a Global Marketplace featuring local artisans and young entrepreneurs. Oct. 8. The boys are at it again – this time with Drew’s unconventional hand roll night. This Thursday Chef Adams will be setting up at the DARKROOM bar slinging the most unconventional handrolls of all time. Boil Room OC at Kitsch Pop-up

Oct. 8. It’s about that time again to do another pop-up for some peel-free seafood boil as Boil Room OC sets up shop at Kitsch Bar. Bring your friends and family, and dig into a lip smacking good time. They’ll be selling Their Original Seafood Boil Bowl ($25) and drinks will be available at the bar! Now Available. From Michelin recognized food, to their garden to glass cocktails, great craft beer, and California wines, Lido Bottle Works has consistently brought diners amazing quality experiences. Oct. 11. The Laguna Plein Air Art Festival brings the 28th annual Laguna Plein Air Invitational to a close at the historic Festival of Arts grounds. Visitors can explore an outdoor gallery featuring original works, watch live demonstrations, meet 30 award-winning landscape painters, and purchase paintings directly from the artists.
